Shaun Keefe

Vice President & CFO | Long Play Capital

Shaun Keefe has been with the company since 2011 and currently serves as Vice President and CFO of Longplay Capital. With a career spanning both the hospitality and oil & gas industries, he brings a wealth of experience and financial expertise to the role. Shaun began his career in the oil & gas sector, where he held senior accounting roles at J. Ray McDermott Inc., Secunda Marine and Kenmac Energy Inc. He later transitioned to hospitality, taking on key financial leadership positions at Steele Hotels Ltd., where he worked as Controller before advancing to VP of Finance and then Vice President & CFO.

Shaun’s extensive background in finance and management has made him a valuable asset to Long Play Capital, where he is focused on driving growth and expanding the company’s portfolio. His ability to adapt to diverse industries and maintain the highest level of professionalism has earned him recognition throughout his career.

A graduate of the University of Prince Edward Island with a degree in Business Administration, Shaun also completed the CMA Accelerated Program in Nova Scotia. He is actively involved in his community; he is Chair of the SPS Entertainment Board (Regiment Hockey Team), a Board member of the Regiment Hockey Cares Foundation, and a member of the Board of Directors for Downtown St. John’s. Shaun’s dedication to Longplay Capital’s success is driven by his passion for identifying new opportunities to sustain the company’s growth.
