Located on Kenmount Road, The Capital is only a 10-minute walk to The Avalon Mall and the Kelsey Drive Shopping Centre. The Stavanger Drive shopping district is also just a short 10-minute drive east.

Our 88 guest rooms have everything you need – comfy beds, refrigerators, self-control heating and air conditioning, 40″ flat-screen TV and all modern amenities, including complimentary WiFi.

Wonderful dinner and breakfast the following morning at Jack’s dining room. Our room was spotless and bathroom and pack up all the great linens on the bed couldn’t have asked for more staff at the front desk so welcoming and familiar just like going home

Situated in an area close to shopping and eating establishments. The room was very clean and the staff were excellent. Travel to St. John’s a couple of times every year and always stay at the Capital. The price is very reasonable and their restaurant is excellent as well.

Home Away From Home

Love the Capital location, breakfast all day, great staff, pet-friendly. great prices, walking distance to shopping, movies and other great places to eat. Easy exit to the highway. We come here even on day trips to town just for the all-day breakfast.

With many moose items on the menu, like moose sausages, you’ll feel like you’re back in mom’s kitchen. The Capital is one of St. John’s preferred venues for conventions, meetings, and banquets.

Whether you are hosting a small breakfast meeting, training seminar, sales presentation, company banquet or conference, our six distinctive meeting spaces can be configured to host a wide range of corporate events.

Groups ranging in size of six to two-hundred and seventy participants can be accommodated.

Our stylish meeting rooms accommodate classroom, theatre, or banquet style set-ups. An executive boardroom is also available for smaller meetings.

The hotel is equipped with complimentary high-speed Internet, podium, mic, screens, LCD projectors, flip charts, and audio system (with lapel microphones). Any other requirements can be accommodated through an outside vendor.
