Roger Barrow

Roger Barrow brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the community, joining Steele Hotels in 2024 as Vice President of Sales. With over 25 years of experience in the radio industry, Roger held key leadership positions, including Regional Sales Manager for Atlantic Canada and General Sales Manager for Newfoundland and Labrador at Steele Communications, a division of Newcap Inc. In addition, he has six years of retail management experience.

Before joining Longplay Capital, Roger spent four years as a Pastor with The Salvation Army in Orangeville, Ontario, where he led various community outreach efforts, including managing a church, thrift store, food bank, and emergency disaster services. His leadership helped foster strong relationships with local partners, organizations, and government entities, broadening the community’s support network.

Roger’s commitment to continuous improvement drives his approach to sales and leadership. He has served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement Newfoundland & Labrador and The Wiseman Centre and is trained in Emergency Disaster Services (EDS).

Outside of work, Roger has a love of music and is a published musician. He enjoys singing and playing piano/keyboard with a band. Roger and his wife, Glenda, are thrilled to return home to Newfoundland, where they look forward to spending time with their grandsons.
