Robert Waite
General Manager – Fredericton Inn | Hotel Operations
Robert Waite is the General Manager of the Fredericton Inn, bringing extensive experience in hospitality operations and management. He began his career at the Fredericton Inn in 1996, working in the laundry department. He later gained experience in dishwashing and the porter department before relocating to Toronto in 2001. In Toronto, Robert worked as a front desk clerk and progressed through roles in tour and travel sales, front desk management, and revenue management, ultimately serving as Operations Manager. He then moved to Nova Scotia to become General Manager at the Grand Hotel in Yarmouth. In May 2018, Robert returned to Fredericton as Assistant General Manager of the Fredericton Inn, assuming the role of General Manager in January 2023.
Robert’s career has equipped him with extensive operational knowledge and leadership expertise across various aspects of hotel management.
He has served on several boards, including YASTA (Yarmouth and Acadian Shores Tourism Association), the Yarmouth Room Levy Board, and the Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the boards of Saint John Ambulance and the Fredericton Hotel Association. Outside of work, Robert enjoys playing soccer and spending quality time with his three daughters.
