General Manager – Glynmill Inn | Hotel Operations

Connie Rose is the General Manager of the Glynmill Inn in Corner Brook, bringing decades of experience in hospitality management and operations. She began her career at the Glynmill Inn in 1977, working in housekeeping and as a front desk agent. After a brief period from 1988 to 1990 in customer service at Beneficial Finance, she returned to the Glynmill Inn, progressing through roles as Front Office Manager, Banquet Manager, Assistant Manager, and ultimately General Manager.

Connie’s extensive experience spans all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, banquets, and team leadership. She has contributed to various industry organizations, including Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador, the Hotel Motel Association, Canada Select, the NL Restaurant Association, the Corner Brook Tourism Association, and Go Western Newfoundland.

Outside of work, Connie enjoys walking, riding side-by-sides, snowmobiling, reading, travelling, and spending time at her trailer. She finds her greatest satisfaction in hospitality through the people she meets and the opportunity to ensure every guest has a memorable experience, whether staying overnight, dining, or enjoying a beverage in the lounge.
