Experience “Come From Away” in Gander
Experience the World Renowned Musical in the Town that Inspired it.
In recognition of the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, Come From Away returns home with an extended season — a heartfelt tribute to the extraordinary kindness shown during one of the world’s most difficult series of days.
Come From Away, the award-winning musical celebrated around the world, comes back to Gander in an all-new production reimagined by acclaimed Newfoundland and Labrador director Jillian Keiley.
Written by Tony nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, this breathtaking musical shares the true story of the 7,000 stranded passengers who landed unexpectedly on 9/11—and the extraordinary kindness of the Newfoundland and Labrador communities that welcomed them.
Performances take place at the Arts and Culture Centre (Joseph R. Smallwood Centre) on Airport Boulevard in Gander, the very town where the story unfolds.
Extended season runs from June 28th to September 13th.
