Steele Hotels is proud to celebrate the induction of John Steele and Catherine Steele into the Junior Achievement of Newfoundland and Labrador Business Hall of Fame. Catherine Steele was honoured posthumously during the gala ceremony held on May 21, 2026.

The 2026 class of inductees also included:

• Brian Chafe, CEO of De Havilland Canada and former CEO of PAL Aerospace
• Regina McCarthy, Founder, and Mark McCarthy, President of McCarthy’s Party

The Junior Achievement NL Business Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to business, entrepreneurship, and their communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Family, friends, business leaders, and community members gathered at the gala celebration to recognize the accomplishments and lasting impact of this year’s inductees.
