On May 29th, 2027, history and endurance come together in Gander, NL, with the “Run From Away” Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K.

Starting on the iconic tarmac of Gander International Airport and weaving through landmarks made famous by Come From Away, runners will experience a course unlike any other – one that tells a story of resilience, compassion, and community.

From Downtown Gander to the scenic trails of Cobbs Pond Rotary Park, every step retraces the legacy of kindness that captured the world on September 11, 2001. The race finishes at Gander’s new Track & Field Facility, bringing participants full circle in a place where history and humanity intersect.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply want to be part of something extraordinary, this is more than a marathon – it’s a chance to run where kindness made headlines.
