I’ve been with the company since July 2016.

I moved here for school when I was 18. I have a few family members here on the island so when I was deciding on which university to attend, Memorial seemed like the best choice.
It didn’t take long for St. John’s to capture my heart. When I first moved here, I definitely would have answered George Street as the thing I enjoyed most about the city. As a 19-year-old from rural Nova Scotia, the thought of so many bars on one street seemed crazy to me. But now my answer would be the people. I’ve made so many amazing connections over the years and found a career that I really enjoy.

I love being able to go the extra mile to make someone’s day or vacation one to remember. And you get to meet so many interesting people!
𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆?
I discovered an interest in photography through a Graphic Design program that I completed at the College of the North Atlantic. Not sure if I’d go as far as to say I’m talented with it, but it’s certainly a hobby I enjoy. I had a lot of fun taking pictures of burgers when JAG held their in-house “Burger Battle” during the second COVID lockdown. I’ve also been known to paint, draw, etc.

Oh gosh, it’s so difficult to pick just one. Desperate Housewives is my favorite TV Show for sure but recently I just finished Lucifer and oh man, that was a good one.
As for books, I read an embarrassing amount of YA fiction. A few that I’ve enjoyed over the years are Poison by Chris Wooding and literally all of the Percy Jackson Books.

Metric performed at Iceberg Alley a few years ago and they were great!

Oddly enough, working here during “Snowmageddon”. JAG provides rooms to their employees when there’s a risk of impending storms.
I was here for 5 days with some of my fav JAG fam. It was a wildly stressful few days but I met some of my favorite hotel guests to this date and we all worked together (staff from JAG, managers who were visiting from our other Steele properties, and our wonderful guests) to make it a great experience.
